Customer Terms of Service
These terms apply to anyone who uses KleenFind to find, book, or pay a cleaning professional. Last updated August 16, 2026. This is a template for your review and is not legal advice.
1. What KleenFind is — and is not
KleenFind operates a marketplace that introduces customers ("you") to independent cleaning professionals and cleaning companies ("providers"). We are not a cleaning company. We do not employ, supervise, direct, or control providers, and we do not perform the cleaning services booked through the platform.
Every cleaning engagement is a direct contract between you and the provider. Facility Works facilitates discovery, scheduling, rate transparency, and record keeping for that relationship.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. You agree to provide accurate information about yourself, your property, and the services you need, and to keep it current. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
Only you may use your account. You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their authorization, or hold multiple accounts to evade suspension.
3. Accurate job information
Time estimates, recommended durations, and provider rates depend on the details you supply: square footage, bedroom and bathroom counts, facility type, condition, occupancy, pets, and add-ons. If conditions on arrival materially differ from what you described, the provider may adjust the scope, adjust the price, or decline the job. Repeated material misstatements may result in suspension.
4. Bookings, rescheduling, and cancellations
Cancel or reschedule at least 6 hours before the scheduled start at no charge. Inside 6 hours — or if the cleaner can't get access on arrival — the visit counts as a late cancellation and may be charged.
Requests are not confirmed until a provider accepts. A provider may decline any request. You may reschedule outside the cancellation window at no charge, subject to the provider's availability.
Lockouts count as late cancellations. If the provider cannot access the property at the scheduled start time and cannot reach you within a reasonable waiting period, the visit is treated as a late cancellation.
5. Rates, fees, and payment
Providers publish their own rates — hourly, per square foot, flat, or matrix rates by property type and size. The rate shown at booking covers the scope described in the service checklist for that service. Work outside that scope, excessive soil, hazardous conditions, or added rooms may be quoted separately and must be agreed before the work begins.
You agree to pay for services performed, plus any applicable taxes and late-cancellation charges. Chargebacks initiated without first using the dispute process in Section 11 may result in suspension.
Home services — payment due on completion. Payment for a one-time home cleaning is due upon completion of the service. An invoice is considered late 2 days after the service is completed, and late balances may accrue a reasonable late fee and pause new bookings until cleared.
Recurring weekly home services. Payment is due after completion of each scheduled visit, on the same terms as above. Recurring service may be paused if a prior visit remains unpaid.
Commercial services. KleenFind invoices commercial work and payment is due net 10 days from the invoice date. KleenFind handles billing for awarded commercial contracts; the service contract itself remains between you and the provider.
All payments are made through KleenFind. Paying a provider directly for platform work is a circumvention of these terms and does not satisfy your payment obligation.
6. Property access, security, and preparation
You are responsible for providing safe, lawful access: keys, codes, parking, elevator reservations, utilities, running water, and working lighting. Access codes you share are used only to perform the booked service.
Secure cash, jewelry, firearms, prescription medication, sensitive documents, and irreplaceable items before the visit. Providers are not expected to move heavy furniture, climb above standard step-stool height, handle biohazards, or clean areas that present a safety risk.
Pets must be secured or disclosed in advance. Providers may decline to work in a home with an unsecured aggressive animal without that visit counting as a provider cancellation.
7. Safe and lawful work environment
You agree to treat providers with respect and to maintain a work environment free of harassment, discrimination, intimidation, drug or alcohol impairment, and unsafe conditions. Discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic is prohibited and results in immediate termination of your account.
You may not ask a provider to perform work that is unlawful, that requires a license the provider does not hold, or that falls outside the scope of the booked service.
8. Damage, loss, and claims
Report any alleged damage or loss to KleenFind and to the provider within 72 hours of the visit, with photographs and a description. Claims reported after 72 hours may not be verifiable and may be denied.
Claims are settled between you and the provider, and where applicable, the provider's general liability insurer or janitorial bond. KleenFind may assist by supplying booking records and provider insurance information, but is not the insurer, guarantor, or adjuster of any claim and does not assume liability for provider conduct.
Normal wear, pre-existing damage, aging finishes, loose fixtures, and items you failed to disclose as fragile are excluded.
9. Provider vetting — scope and limits
Providers submit business, insurance, licensing, and credential information during onboarding. We review submitted documents, but we do not independently guarantee the accuracy, currency, or sufficiency of any provider's insurance, licensing, training, or background. You are responsible for satisfying yourself that a provider is suitable before granting access to your property.
10. Non-circumvention
Providers you are introduced to through KleenFind may only be engaged through the platform for a period of twelve (12) months following your most recent platform interaction with that provider. During that period you agree not to solicit, hire, contract with, or pay that provider (or their crew members) off-platform for cleaning services, and not to encourage a provider to move an existing booking off-platform.
This restriction applies only to providers you were introduced to through KleenFind. It does not apply to providers you already had a documented relationship with before using the platform. Violations may result in account termination and recovery of the platform fees that were avoided.
11. Disputes with providers
If a visit does not meet the published service checklist, notify KleenFind and the provider within 72 hours. Most issues are resolved with a re-clean of the affected areas. We may mediate informally, but we are not obligated to arbitrate, refund, or compensate on a provider's behalf.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or any particular outcome from a booking.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KleenFind is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, property damage, or personal injury arising from services performed by a provider. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the platform is limited to the greater of the platform fees you paid us in the six months preceding the claim, or $100.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KleenFind, its officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising out of your use of the platform, your breach of these terms, conditions at your property, or your interactions with any provider.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account at any time for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, non-payment, abusive conduct toward providers or staff, or where required by law. You may close your account at any time; obligations already incurred — including payment for completed work and the non-circumvention period — survive closure.
15. Dispute resolution and governing law
The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute informally within 30 days of written notice. Unresolved disputes are then resolved by binding individual arbitration under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider, in the state where KleenFind is organized. You and KleenFind waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in class or representative actions. Small-claims matters and requests for injunctive relief to protect intellectual property are excluded.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform adds features such as payments, contracts, and expanded coverage. Material changes will be posted here with a revised "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notified in your dashboard. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
