Provider Terms of Service

These terms apply to every independent cleaner and cleaning company that lists services on KleenFind. Last updated August 16, 2026. This is a template for your review and is not legal advice.

1. Independent contractor status

You are an independent business. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or franchise relationship with KleenFind. You control how, when, and where you perform work, which jobs you accept or decline, your own pricing, your own equipment and supplies, and your own crew.

You are solely responsible for your federal, state, and local taxes, including self-employment tax, and for any payroll obligations for people you employ. KleenFind does not withhold taxes and does not provide employee benefits, unemployment insurance, or workers' compensation coverage on your behalf.

2. Insurance requirements

You must carry and maintain, at your own expense, at minimum:

Commercial general liability — at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate, covering bodily injury, property damage, and personal injury arising from your cleaning operations. Commercial and janitorial contracts may require higher limits set by the customer.

Janitorial / employee dishonesty bond — at least $10,000 where you or your crew access unattended customer premises, keys, or access codes.

Workers' compensation — statutory coverage in every state where you have employees, at the limits that state requires. Sole proprietors with no employees may submit a signed exemption where the state allows one.

Commercial auto or hired/non-owned auto — coverage at or above your state's minimum for any vehicle used to travel to jobs or transport equipment and crew.

Certificates of insurance must be uploaded to your profile, must name the insured entity exactly as your business is listed here, and must be kept current. You agree to notify KleenFind within 5 business days of any cancellation, lapse, non-renewal, or material reduction in coverage. Listings may be paused automatically when a certificate expires, and working while uninsured is a material breach of these terms.

You will add KleenFind as a certificate holder on request, and add a customer as an additional insured where their contract requires it.

3. Licensing, compliance, and background

You must hold and maintain every business license, registration, tax ID, and trade or specialty license required for the services you list and the jurisdictions you serve — including any license required for pressure washing, water discharge, biohazard or post-construction work, or the handling of regulated chemicals.

You certify that you and every crew member are legally authorized to work, and that no one on your crew is barred by law or by a prior conviction from performing in-home or in-facility services. You agree to comply with all applicable wage, hour, safety, and anti-discrimination laws, including OSHA-equivalent requirements, chemical labeling and safety data sheet rules, and proper handling and disposal of cleaning agents and waste water.

KleenFind may require identity verification and background screening as a condition of listing, and may remove listings when verification fails or is not completed.

4. Accurate listings, rates, and documents

Every service, rate, credential, certification, team size, service area, and document on your profile must be truthful and current. Published rates — hourly, per square foot, flat, or matrix rates by property type and size — are binding for the scope described in that service's checklist. You may not list a service you are not equipped, trained, licensed, or insured to perform.

Uploading a false, altered, or expired certificate, license, or insurance document results in permanent removal from the platform.

5. Availability, acceptance, and reliability

Keep your availability calendar accurate. The platform reserves your booked window plus a travel buffer between jobs; you are responsible for confirming the buffer is realistic for your route.

Respond to job opportunities promptly and accept only work you can perform on time and to standard. Arrive within the agreed window, in appropriate attire, with the supplies and equipment the service requires.

Cancel or reschedule at least 6 hours before the scheduled start at no charge. Inside 6 hours — or if the cleaner can't get access on arrival — the visit counts as a late cancellation and may be charged.

The same notice applies to you. No-shows, repeated late cancellations, chronic lateness, and abandoned jobs lead to reduced visibility, loss of featured placement, or removal.

6. Quality standards and scope

The published "what's included" checklist for each service is the minimum baseline of the work. If conditions on arrival materially differ from the customer's description, document the difference with photographs and agree any change in scope or price with the customer before continuing.

If a customer reports that a visit missed items on the checklist, you agree to return and correct the affected areas at no additional charge within a reasonable time, unless the complaint is unfounded.

7. Liability, indemnification, and damage claims

You are solely responsible for the acts, omissions, work quality, and safety of yourself, your employees, and your subcontractors. You bear the risk of loss for your equipment, supplies, and vehicles.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KleenFind and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, damage, loss, fine, penalty, or reasonable legal fee arising out of your services, your breach of these terms, your misclassification or employment of workers, your violation of law, or injury or property damage caused by you or your crew.

Report any incident, injury, or property damage to KleenFind and the customer within 24 hours. Cooperate fully with the customer's claim, your insurer, and any reasonable request for documentation. Unresolved damage claims may result in suspension until resolved.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KleenFind is not liable to you for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost bookings. Our aggregate liability to you is limited to the greater of the subscription and platform fees you paid us in the six months preceding the claim, or $100.

8. Non-solicitation and non-circumvention

Customers introduced to you through KleenFind are platform customers. For twelve (12) months following your most recent platform interaction with a given customer, you agree not to:

(a) solicit, accept, or perform cleaning services for that customer outside the platform; (b) encourage a customer to cancel, move, or rebook a job off-platform; (c) distribute business cards, invoices, payment links, or contact details for the purpose of taking a platform customer off-platform; or (d) solicit other providers or KleenFind personnel away from the platform.

This restriction is limited to customers you were introduced to through KleenFind. It does not restrict your right to operate your own cleaning business, to serve your existing customers, to advertise generally, or to list on other platforms — this is a non-circumvention and non-solicitation obligation, not a general non-compete. If a court finds any part overbroad, it is to be enforced to the maximum extent permitted.

Circumvention may result in immediate removal and recovery of the platform fees avoided, plus reasonable collection costs.

9. Confidentiality and customer data

Customer addresses, access codes, keys, alarm information, contact details, schedules, and anything you observe inside a home or facility are confidential. Use them only to perform the booked service. Do not photograph, record, publish, or share customer premises or data without written permission, and do not sell, market to, or add platform customers to mailing lists.

Return keys, fobs, and badges on request or at the end of the engagement. Confidentiality obligations survive termination.

10. Crew members and subcontractors

You may use employees or subcontractors only if they meet the same insurance, licensing, verification, confidentiality, and conduct standards in these terms. You remain fully responsible for their conduct, and you agree to bind them contractually to these obligations. Sending an unvetted worker to a job is a material breach.

11. Payment terms, billing, and platform fee

KleenFind handles billing for all platform work. Customers pay KleenFind, and KleenFind remits your earnings on the schedule below. You may not invoice a platform customer directly or collect payment outside the platform.

Recurring home services are paid out every Wednesday for visits completed and marked complete through the platform in the prior period.

Recurring commercial services are paid out on the 10th of every month for the prior month's service, consistent with the net 10 terms billed to the customer.

Platform fee. A 5% platform fee is deducted from each payment before it is remitted to you. The fee covers customer acquisition, matching, scheduling, billing, collections, and support. No other commission is charged on platform work.

You own your commercial service contract; KleenFind retains billing and collections for the life of that contract. Payouts may be held where a damage claim, chargeback, or documented service failure is unresolved, or where required credentials have lapsed. You are responsible for your own taxes; no amounts are withheld on your behalf.

12. Featured profile subscription

The Featured Profile upgrade costs $15.99 per month, billed monthly in advance and renewing automatically until cancelled. Featured providers receive highlighted placement and priority sorting in customer match results.

Placement improves visibility only — it is not a guarantee of bookings, revenue, or any specific results, and any performance figures shown are illustrative averages. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. Pricing may change with 30 days' notice. Suspension for a terms violation does not entitle you to a refund.

13. Conduct on the platform

No harassment, discrimination, retaliation, fraudulent listings, fake reviews, rate manipulation, scraping, or attempts to circumvent platform security. Discrimination against customers or workers based on a protected characteristic results in immediate termination.

14. Suspension and termination

We may pause a listing or terminate an account for lapsed insurance, expired licensing, falsified documents, unresolved damage claims, reliability failures, circumvention, or any material breach. You may deactivate at any time; obligations already incurred — including completed bookings, damage claims, confidentiality, indemnification, and the twelve-month non-solicitation period — survive termination.

15. Dispute resolution and governing law

The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute informally within 30 days of written notice. Unresolved disputes are then resolved by binding individual arbitration under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider, in the state where KleenFind is organized. Both parties waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in class or representative actions. Small-claims matters and requests for injunctive relief — including enforcement of Sections 8 and 9 — are excluded.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform adds payments, contracts, and expanded coverage. Material changes will be posted here with a revised "last updated" date and notified in your dashboard. Continued listing after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
